Enhance your group chat experience by customizing your profile and group settings. Here's how you can manage your group chat profile on SendingMe:
On the group chat you want to personalize, click the "3 dots" icon on the top right of the screen.
A new section will appear which gives your group chat profile information, click "edit" to be directed to the group chat General Settings.
Here's what you customize on your group chat.
Group Name - Customize your group chat experience by giving it a name that resonates with the theme or purpose of your conversations. Whether it's for work, friends, or a hobby group, the "Edit Group Name" feature allows you to make it uniquely yours.
User Alias in the Group - Add a personal touch to your interactions by setting a user alias within the group. Express yourself in a way that feels comfortable and uniquely 'you,' fostering a more personalized and engaging chat experience.
Group Remarks: - Keep things organized and memorable with group remarks. Jot down essential notes, set reminders, or share important details about the group's purpose. The "Group Remarks" feature ensures everyone is on the same page and has the information they need.
Once done, click "save".
That's it! You've now successfully customized your group chat profile.
Open settings: Click the 3 dots on the upper right corner of the group chat for more options, then go to settings.
Group Name: Choose a descriptive and catchy name for your group chat. This name will be visible to all members and should reflect the purpose or theme of your group.
Alias in Group: If you have different groups within your organization or community, you can set an alias for your group chat. This alias helps differentiate between various squads or teams.
Channel Remark: Add a remark or description to your channel. This can include guidelines, objectives, or any important information you want to share with the members.
Group Notice: Set up a notice for your group chat. This notice will be pinned at the top of the chat and can be used to share important announcements or updates.
Slow Mode: Slow Mode controls message flow in a chat by limiting users without specific permissions to one message per set interval, from 5 seconds to 1 hour. This prevents spam, reduces clutter, and maintains a manageable conversation pace. Administrators can customize settings, and moderators can be exempt to ensure effective moderation, enhancing readability and order in high-traffic channels.
History Messages Access: Manage the access to previous messages in the group chat. You can set permissions for new members to view chat history, ensuring they are up to date with prior discussions.
That's it! You've now successfully customized your group chat profile.
