Roles & Permissions

Group owner

The Group Owner holds the highest level of control and authority within the group, possessing permissions such as full control over settings, content, and user management, the ability to assign and revoke admin roles, manage access, and configure features like token gating. Additionally, they are responsible for making ultimate decisions regarding group policies and direction.

Group admin

The Group Admin assists the Group Owner by managing daily operations and moderating user activities within the group. They hold permissions to create and edit content, moderate user activity to enforce group rules, validate digital assets, and manage access levels using token gating. Additionally, they provide support to the Group Owner in various administrative tasks.

Banned list

The Banned List comprises users barred from accessing the group due to rule violations, prohibiting their participation and engagement with group content and members. Group Owners and Admins manage this list, adding or removing users and conducting regular reviews for fairness and potential reinstatement appeals. Their responsibility lies in safeguarding the group from disruptive behavior and fostering a safe, respectful environment for all members.

Deleting a Group

To delete a group, follow these steps:

1. Click "Delete Group": In the General Settings, find and click the "Delete Group" button.

2. Confirm Deletion: A pop-up will appear to confirm your decision. Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the group chat.
